Zur Person

Patrick Felka hat Wirtschaftsinformatik an der Technischen Universität Darmstadt studiert. Die Schwerpunkte seines Studiums lagen auf den Bereichen Projektmanagement, Maschinelles Lernen und Data-Mining. Im Mai 2015 schloss er sein Studium mit dem Titel Master of Science ab und begann seine Promotion am Lehrstuhl von Prof. Oliver Hinz. Darüber hinaus ist Patrick Felka seit Mai 2015 Teil des Sonderforschungsbereichs 1053 MAKI (Multi-Mechanismen-Adaption für das künftige Internet) und befasste sich während seiner Promotion im Teilprojekt C5 mit kontextbasierten Prädiktionen zur dynamischen Anpassung Netzwerkinfrastrukturen.

Im Mai 2020 schloss er seine Promotion an der Goethe-Universität mit dem akademischen Titel Dr. rer. pol. ab. Seine Doktorarbeit "Context-Based Analytics and Optimization in Information Systems Research" betrachtet die Verwendung von Kontextfaktoren in verschiedenen Forschungs- und Anwendungsbereichen der Wirtschaftsinformatik.

Aktuell ist Herr Felka Postdoc-Forscher und befasst sich im Rahmen einer Kooperation mit der Vodafone GmbH in Düsseldorf, mit der Übertragung seiner bisherigen Forschung in die Praxis, sowie mit der Gewinnung neuer Erkenntnisse zu kontextbasierten Prädiktionen.
