Zur Person

Maximilian Lowin studierte Wirtschaftsinformatik an der TU Darmstadt. Sein Masterstudium schloss er dort im Dezember 2019 mit dem Titel Master of Science ab. Während des Studiums verbrachte er ein Auslandssemester an der Chalmers University of Technology und beschäftigte sich vor allem mit den Themen künstlicher Intelligenz und Human User Interfaces. 

Parallel zum Studium arbeitete er als freiberuflicher Softwareentwickler und beschäftigte sich mit dem Themen Web, Datenbanken und IoT.

Seit Januar 2020 ist Maximilian Lowin als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter an der Professur für Wirtschaftsinformatik und Informationsmanagement von Prof. Dr. Oliver Hinz tätig. Er arbeitet in verschiedenen KI-bezogenen Forschungsprojekten zu Themen wie Smart Living (insbesondere intelligentes, nachhaltiges Heizen), Multi-Stakeholder Empfehlungssystemen oder Entscheidungsunterstützung in der Medizin. Er promovierte zum Thema Data-Driven Decision-Making und arbeitet priämär in einem Hessian.AI-Forschungsprojekt zum Thema Large Language Models.
