Biography

Adrian Waltenrath studied economics at the Universities of Mannheim and Bonn with emphasis on the fields of econometrics and statistics. He finished his master studies at the University of Bonn in October 2015 with his master thesis that deals with "LASSO-Based Forecasting of Financial Time Series on the Basis of News Headline". A condensed version has been published in the Bonn Journal of Economics. 

Since November 2015 Adrian Waltenrath is employed at the DZ Bank, where he completed a trainee-program. Currently he works there in Treasury. Beforehand he completed multiple internships at KfW, BHF-Bank, L-Bank and Wüstenrot Bank among others. 

Adrian Waltenrath is an external doctoral student at the Chair of Information Systems and Information Management, headed by Prof. Dr. Oliver Hinz, since November 2017.
