Frank Ebbers studied the bachelor course “Information Management and Corporate Communications” at Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences. In his bachelor thesis he worked on the development of a gamified authentication method, which he presented at the CAiSE conference. He continued with a master’s course in “International Information Systems Management“ at the university of Bamberg. During his studies he worked as an intern at Robert Bosch (SEA) in Singapore. His master’s thesis dealt with the development of a privacy assistant for IoT devices.
Besides his studies he passed the certification as Scrum Master and started a small entrepreneurship. Further he gained experience as working student and intern for companies like Carl Zeiss and Husqvarna, as well as student assistant at the university of Bamberg.
Since November 2018, Frank Ebbers is doctoral student in cooperation with the FHG at the Chair of Information Systems and Information Management at Goethe University. He received his PhD in July 2023.
