Patrick Weber studied Business Information Systems at the Technische Universität Darmstadt. During his studies he dealt with the topics communication networks and visualisation. He wrote his master's thesis on "Opportunities of Artificial Intelligence in Human Resources". In November 2019 he completed his studies with the academic degree Master of Science.
Patrick Weber was able to deepen his focus on project management in 2017 during a seven-month internship abroad at AT Consult, Inc. in New York City and in 2019 at AG konaktiva GbR. He gained further practical experience before and during his studies through several internships, including 2016 at Deloitte GmbH Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft and 2013 at Commerzbank AG.
Since February 2020, Patrick Weber has been working as a research assistant at Goethe University Frankfurt at the Chair of Information Systems and Information Management of Prof. Dr. Oliver Hinz.
Patrick Weber served as a reviewer for multiple conferences, including the International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS), the European Conference on Information Systems (ECIS), the Americas Conference on Information Systems (AMCIS), the Southern Association for Information Systems Conference (SAIS), and the Internationale Tagung Wirtschaftsinformatik (WI). He session chaired and reviewed for the Pacific-Asia Conference on Information Systems (PACIS). Further, he reviewed for mutiple journals, including the Journal of Behavioral Finance and the IAES International Journal of Artificial Intelligence (IJ-AI).
