Biography

Frederik Hering studied business and economics (B.Sc.) at Johannes Gutenberg-University in Mainz and Business Informatics (M.Sc.) at Goethe-University in Frankfurt. In his master's thesis on "Why are customers in retail dissatisfied? (...)" he dealt with the analysis of reviews on the online platform Google Maps with the help of Machine Learning.

After his master’s degree, Frederik Hering worked for two years as a software developer for a technology consultancy in Heidelberg and supported various clients in the areas of Cloud Data Platform, MLOps and Data Engineering.

Since September 2023, Frederik Hering has been working as a research assistant and PhD student at Prof. Dr. Oliver Hinz's Chair of Business Informatics and Information Management and in particular for the AEROKI project.
