About the person

Jan Zacharias studied business and economics at the Johannes Gutenberg University-Mainz and Management with a major in Information Management at the Goethe University Frankfurt am Main. He wrote his Master Thesis on the subject of "Interactive and Explainable Machine Learning". During his bachelor studies he was able to gain international experience during his semester abroad at the University of Winnipeg in Canada.

Jan Zacharias gained practical experience in several internships and student jobs, primarily in management and technology consulting, including at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC)GmbH, Accenture GmbH and Schott AG.

Since April 2022, Jan Zacharias has been working as research associate and PhD student at the department of business informatics and information management of Prof. Dr. Oliver Hinz.
