Zur Person

Constantin Brîncoveanu hat seinen Master in Wirtschaftsinformatik an der Technischen Universität Wien mit den Schwerpunkten Machine Learning und International Economics abgeschlossen. Im Laufe seiner beruflichen Laufbahn hat er umfangreiche Erfahrungen als Machine Learning Engineer und Data Scientist bei Cloudflight, der Deutschen Bundesbank und Magenta Telekom Austria gesammelt, wobei sein Schwerpunkt auf skalierbaren KI-Lösungen und Datenmanagement in verschiedenen Geschäftsbereichen lag.

Seine Forschung befasst sich mit dem Design von menschenzentrierten intelligenten Systemen. Er konzentriert sich auf die Auflösung des Spannungsfelds zwischen algorithmischer Nützlichkeit und Benutzerautonomie in den Bereichen Smart Living und nachhaltige Mobilität. Seine Arbeit untersucht, wie datengesteuerte Dienste so gestaltet werden können, dass sie Vertrauen fördern, Anreize für den Datenaustausch schaffen und faire, nachhaltige Geschäftsmodelle ermöglichen.

Seit März 2024 ist er Doktorand und wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Lehrstuhl für Wirtschaftsinformatik und Informationsmanagement (Prof. Dr. Oliver Hinz). Durch die Kombination seines technischen Hintergrunds im Bereich ML mit empirischen Forschungsmethoden möchte er die Lücke zwischen technischer Machbarkeit und Nutzerakzeptanz in der digitalen Wirtschaft schließen.
